NOT TOO LONG AGO....I was giving a class and I spoke about how we as Christians grow in the word.
I used the analogy that we are first on the milk of the word, then pablum, then baby food, then meat...like hamburger, ground
up so it was easy to digest...then steak, real meat that we have to chew and finally as mature
Christians we end up on Beef Jerky.. strong meat that takes a lot of chewing.
My Sister in Christ, Sandra Thompson, sent me an email and said she had been cogitating upon the
analogy that I had used in the lesson and was moved to make the following. I loved it so, that I wanted to share it with all
of you.
